Studio 13 is Dave Wyndorf's outlet for comic storytelling and visual ideas that do not fit on a standard album cycle. Posts on this site from 2010 introduced characters such as Capricorn and tied them to limited print runs. The tone matches the band's fiction-heavy lyrics: bold lines, dark humor, and retro pulp references.

Fans who only follow the music miss half of the mythology Wyndorf builds across media. Comics give him space to stretch scenes without a three-minute time limit. Collectors watch the Funhouse and news archives for announcements when new issues drop.
